Covert Ensemble
CONSORTIUM
Consortiums make new music possible. INTERWOVEN exists because a community of saxophonists believed in the value of supporting creative voices.
Thank you to all our consortium members for helping myself, Katerina, and Giancarlo Lay bring this excellent composition to life: Nate Jorgensen, Andrew Harrison, Xin Gao, Lois Hicks-Wozniak, Brad Hubbard, James Barger, Ben Still, Joshua Thomas, Jeffrey Leung, Gail Levinsky, Kevin Stewart, Patrick Schlesinger, Jocelyn Xiong, Joe Girard, Nathan Keedy, Matthew Seebran, Chase Dwiggins, Zach Stern, Allison Adams, and Larry Hon.
COVERT ENSEMBLE
Convert Ensemble is the name ofDave Camwell and Kateřina Pavlíková's musical partnership that began in early 2021 and has resulted in more than 25 exceptional and unique arrangements of popular classical music from J.S. Bach to contemporary composers such as Max Richter. DC & KP also produce music that deliberately blurs the line between the classical, rock and pop worlds. Their ethos is centered upon musical virtuosity and beguiling visuals.
The ensemble has toured the Czech Republic, Canada and the USA, and recently led international consortiums by composers Jenni Brandon and Martin Hybler, and recorded Hybler’s Aquarius double concerto with the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra.
Teal Creek Music is an independent recording label, representing artists with eclectic influences and distinctive vision
